Flying to banglore for the EF hackahton. I know I am obviously going to get in. flight's about to take off, im just going to read/do some interesting stuff on the flight. ytpo on loop. time to go make billions.

i've opened up a bunch of books. life is so cool tho, just thinking about this makes me excited. imma go nail the hackathon, get into ef, over the next 3 months, will make a bunch of really good projects and become best itw at ai. then go to colombia for the bachelor's party, then move to blr for ef and build a billion dollar business surrounded by really cool people. let's fucking gooooo.

i was reading the first chapter, nothing interesting yet.
i went an read an article on "eigen" the ai mutual friend that sajal (khanna) had suggested i read. very interesting... i got some really really cool ideas while reading this. hmmm gears turning ;)

basic "steps" ; process data, attention mech. , pretrain, training loop, evaluate } at this point you get a foundation model that can do some stuff. then finetuning, either to follow instructions or classification tasks.
selfsupervised, you generate your own labels.

started reading sutton. this is so interesting and motivating. i remember reading this book on dynamic programming (not in the cp sense), like the actual math of dynamic programming by the inventor of it (i forget his name) but the fact that rl and dp are so connected, and i can just learn so much cool stuff seems so exciting. this is what imma be doing this summer. let's go.
